Land of the Cadigal, Birrabirragal clans

‍What started as minor works ended up with a full gut renovation of a two-level penthouse overlooking Sydney Harbour. The owners loved black and wanted a dark moody apartment. The original brief called for all black but as they had two young children they thought perhaps they should pull it back a little. Black wire-brushed timber panels clad the walls throughout the apartment juxtaposed by greyed oak herringbone floors. A custom Boffi kitchen was designed in metal and marble and Salvatori stone was used for all of the bathrooms. Dark and moody for the adults and light and white for the children.
